The Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, at its meeting yesterday, headed by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the Council, approved a draft law to amend Law No. 6 of 2015 regarding human resources for the Emirate of Sharjah, after discussing its provisions during the meeting, and directed the Council By referring it to the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah to complete its legislative session.

The head of the Human Resources Department, Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, stressed that the department is keen on upgrading human resources in various local departments and institutions, and achieving future aspirations, in a manner that serves the vision of the emirate in developing the work system.

The Council also approved the memorandum submitted by the media office of the Government of Sharjah regarding the mechanism for implementing Council Resolution No. 39 of 2019, regarding advertising and promotion of governmental and semi-governmental activities, services or products in the Emirate of Sharjah, and Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, gave a briefing on the mechanism Implementing the decision, terms and conditions that must be met by people or companies and institutions that practice advertising activities on commercial bases, and in exchange for material or non-material through social media.

The Council issued Resolution No. 1 of 2020, amending Executive Council Resolution No. 14 of 2019 regarding the regulation of recreational fishing in the Emirate of Sharjah, and the administrative decision requires that the text of Item No. 1 of Article 3 of Executive Council Resolution No. 14 of 2019 be replaced with the following text: « He must be a citizen of the United Arab Emirates or a resident of the emirate with a valid residence permit issued by the emirate. ”It is added to Article 5 of Executive Council Resolution No. 14 of 2019, No. 3 and 4 and states the following:“ Not to throw or leave Waste or pollution of the emirate’s beaches, ”and“ cooperation with the authority’s inspectors and showing what proves personal identity upon request. ”

The Council approved the memorandum of understanding to be concluded between the Real Estate Registration Department and the Ministry of Finance regarding the exchange of information for tax purposes in accordance with international tax agreements.

The Council reviewed the recommendations of the Advisory Council of the Emirate of Sharjah on a draft law regulating the General Administration of Civil Defense in the Emirate of Sharjah, and directed the Council to submit the draft law to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in preparation for its issuance.

The Council adopted a memorandum on the mechanism for implementing the decision to announce and promote events in the emirate.

The Council approved a memorandum of understanding between the Real Estate Registration Department and the Ministry of Finance regarding the exchange of information for tax purposes.
