"China is ready, together with the international community, to make efforts to advance the implementation of the results achieved during the conference in Berlin in order to make a constructive contribution to restoring peace, stability and development in Libya," RIA Novosti quotes Shuang.

According to him, China has always taken an “objective and impartial position” on the Libyan issue, adhered to the UN Charter, respected the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Libya, and insisted on promoting a political settlement of the conflict under the leadership of the UN.

At the same time, Shuang noted that the communiqué published at the end of the conference reflects the general desire of the world powers to reduce tensions in Libya.

Earlier, a spokesman for the Turkish leader, Ibrahim Kalin, praised the meeting on Libya on January 19 in Berlin.

Also, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergey Lavrov announced the tasks of the newly created military committee to resolve the Libyan conflict.
