The Egyptian Minister of Defense and Military Production, Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki, has approved the announcement of accepting a new batch of volunteers to join the ranks of the armed forces, as well as guides (Qassasiyyat) for the Border Guard forces, starting on Monday January 27 this year, according to what was published by the military spokesman for the forces Armed Egyptian Colonel Staff of Tamer Rifai.

The Director of the Recruitment and Mobilization Department in Egypt, Major General Samir Khalidi Abdullah, during a press conference held on Sunday, said that the categories required for volunteering included (those who have a general prep and their equivalent (Al-Azhar / vocational / sports)) with a total of 60% as a minimum, and for the categories required to guide (Qassasi Al-Athar) for the benefit of the border guards, so those who hold middle school and its equivalent will be residents of the Aswan / Qena governorates and the desert areas surrounding them.

He explained that among the general conditions for volunteering is that the applicant be Egyptian and of Egyptian parents and not through naturalization, that he is of good conduct and behavior, and that he is not married or previously married, and he will not be allowed to marry until after the successful completion of the prescribed training period, and that the age of The volunteer is more than 15 years old and not more than 25 years old. As for the evidence of retribution, the volunteer is at least 17 years old and not more than 25 years old when joining on August 22, 2020, and the consent of the guardian is required for those under 18 years of age, and that he be medically fit and passes all Specific tests for admission.
