This was stated by the head of the incident investigation department of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran, Hassan Rezayefar, reports IRNA.

According to him, at present, Iranian experts are studying the black box of the crashed plane.

“So far, no decision has been made to send them to another country,” he said.

Earlier, Rezayefar said that the flight recorders of the downed liner will be transferred to Ukraine.

It was noted that the Iranian side again held consultations with experts from Ukraine and confirmed that "it is impossible to decrypt black boxes in Iran."

The plane crash occurred on January 8 in Tehran, killing 176 people.

On January 11, Tehran admitted that the Iranian air defense system mistakenly shot down a passenger plane of Ukraine International Airlines, mistaking it for a cruise missile.
