This is stated in a statement by the Office of Transportation Safety Canada.
“The chief investigator can go to Ukraine this week to meet with the head of the national investigation and discuss the progress of the investigation, as well as visit the laboratory for decoding the flight recorders,” the department said.
Also, the department said that the black boxes of the aircraft are still in Iran and there are no “clear plans” as to when and where they will be decrypted.
Earlier in Iran, they said that they had not yet decided to send black Boeing boxes abroad.
