"We all miss him." A year almost to the day after the disappearance of Emiliano Sala, FC Nantes has announced that the tribute to the player who died in a plane crash will take place this Sunday at La Beaujoire, on the occasion of the reception of the Girondins of Bordeaux.

At the meeting, the Canaries will wear a special jersey inspired by Argentina. A jersey revealed Tuesday and which will be available immediately, indicates the club on its website this Sunday. "All profits from sales (...) will be allocated to the two Argentinian training clubs of Emiliano".

Photos, song and applause

The portrait of Emiliano Sala will be placed on the central circle during the warm-up while "photos and videos retracing his four magnificent seasons in our colors" will be broadcast during the pre-match. The club has also published a special issue of its magazine, which will be distributed to supporters at the entrance to the stadium.

The tifo in preparation should be particularly worth a look while the fans will be called upon to give voice to the glory of the Argentinian, replacing the usual music. "A minute of applause will then be observed in the stadium at kick-off, to which we will associate Philippe Gondet, who also died on January 21," concludes FC Nantes.
