Abu Dhabi City Municipality, through the Al Shahama Municipality Center, implemented an awareness campaign on neglected properties over a period of 5 days, with the participation of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Agriculture and Food Safety, and the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments.

The campaign aimed to reduce the phenomenon of neglected property of all kinds, such as neglected farms, neglected vehicles, boats, and other properties. The campaign also sought to raise the level of awareness among individuals of the community in order to improve the level of public appearance in the region and maintain a healthy and safe environment for all members of society and to prevent what Neglected property can cause damage to the environment and the health of individuals.

The campaign aimed to educate all members of society in the areas of Shahama, Al Rahba, Al Bahia, Al Samha, Al Falah, Al Shalila, Yas Island and Al Sadr, where the Abu Dhabi Authority for Agriculture and Food Safety worked to provide data for abandoned farms and properties, while the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments worked to educate the public in the Friday sermon, and it was also made Community members, through social media, of the necessity and importance of making the best use of property and not neglecting it as it constitutes harm to the civilizational public appearance and public health of community members.

The implementation of such campaigns by the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City comes within the framework of its efforts to preserve the cultural appearance of the emirate and all its cities, as well as to preserve public health and a healthy environment for all members of society.
