Monaco won its twelfth consecutive game in the French Basketball Championship on Saturday by beating Pau-Orthez 89 to 76 and went alone in the lead while awaiting the Villeurbanne match on Sunday (4:00 p.m.) against Bourg-en-Bresse.

The Monegasques (17 wins, 2 defeats) were in front during the entire match thanks to their three-point address (14 baskets), in particular that of their American leader Dee Bost (4 out of 5 for a total of 19 points in just 18 minutes of play). Yakuba Ouattara scored 13 points.

Dijon retained third place, just one victory for the Roca Team, making only one bite of Cholet 97 to 68. At the top of 5 points after a quarter, the Choletais collapsed from the second (26 -9). Nigerian back Rasheed Sulaimon scored 20 points for the JDA.

The Burgundian club has two successes ahead of Boulogne-Levallois who won in Chalon-sur-Saône 98 to 90 thanks to 20 points from the pivot Vitalis Chikoko and 19 from the leader David Michineau. Led by 3 points at the start of the last quarter, the Metropolitans took off in "money time".

Tied with his rival before the match, Nanterre largely dominated Strasbourg 85 to 70. The American Dallas Moore was the best scorer with 21 points and the promising Isaïa Cordinier still had a good match with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 passes. The Hauts-de-Seine club is 8th in the ranking.

Limoges went to Orleans to win 84 to 78 with 21 points from the American leader Semaj Christon, despite a big air gap in the third quarter (26-13).

In the match between the last two, Boulazac broke Le Portel in last place 80 to 74.
