Yesterday, 7,000 male and female teachers from government and private schools in various emirates performed the Teaching Methods Test, which is part of the teacher licensing tests.

The Ministry approved the “Teacher’s License”, whereby workers in the educational and educational sector must obtain a license to practice the profession, indicating that it will be a condition for practicing the education profession at the beginning of 2021, and only licensed teachers can practice education in the country.

She pointed out that everyone must confirm their registration in the professional license system, and whoever fails a test has the opportunity to return within 24 months.

The Ministry seeks to empower the teacher and make him more able to keep pace with educational developments, especially as the ministry's philosophy is based on attention to the knowledge depth of the teacher.

The Ministry revealed that the National Qualifications Authority, the Ministry of Education, the Education and Knowledge Department, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, and the Abu Dhabi Center for Vocational Education and Training, contributed to preparing this system.

She explained that obtaining the license is through the process of passing the tests, which will depend on two tests, one of which is specialized, and the other focuses on teaching methods. In the event that the exam is not passed, the teacher will enroll in a training program aimed at qualifying him, and developing his qualifications according to the needs he aspires to reach the targeted results, and the training period takes different periods according to the needs of the teacher, followed by re-testing.
