According to him, the situation with the use and sale of snus is very serious.
“At the expert council last year I proposed to suspend the sale of chewing tobacco-containing and nicotine-containing mixtures and instruct the Rospotrebnadzor and the Ministry of Internal Affairs to stop selling them,” said Ogul.
The MP noted that the committee is currently "dealing with this problem."
“A bill has also been introduced to ban the sale of such mixtures to minors,” he added.
Earlier it became known that in Russia recorded the first death due to the use of snus.
In December, a bill was submitted to the State Duma on an almost fivefold increase in fines for the sale of analogues of nasvay and snus.
