January 17, 2020 A new technical issue was found in the Boeing 737 Max's software during a review.

"We are making the necessary updates and are working with the Federal Administration Aviation" to resolve and present the solution to the problem, Boeing says in a statement.

The software covers part of the system that starts when the plane starts up and checks that the other systems are operating properly. It is not clear what the impact of the new problem on the return flight of the 737 Max, which has been on the ground for ten months and for which a date for the return to the skies can be glimpsed, is unclear.
