“A typical case occurred on January 10 near the Kiev-controlled village of Orekhovo in the Luhansk region, where a short-range drone fell into the hands of Ukrainian troops after jamming,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to Lukashevich, as a result, the Ukrainian military returned the drone of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) with a completely cleaned memory card.

“Such interference in the operation of the SMM hardware is unacceptable and demonstrates a desire to hide military activity from the mission,” he said.

Along with this, he added that on January 11 the same unmanned aerial vehicle was fired near the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the village of Novoluganskoe, Donetsk Region.

In August 2019, the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic stated that the OSCE mission had lost a drone in the Donetsk region. It was noted that the loss of the apparatus could have occurred as a result of the suppression of the signal by the Ukrainian security forces.
