The foreigners who chose Italy were mainly tourists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, about 25% of the international tourists arriving, but there was also an increase for American and Russian, Canadian and Chinese visitors. The tourism sector focuses on the latter: 2020 is the year of tourism and of the Italy-China culture and Chinese tourism is expected to increase in our country and the increase in flights between the two countries.

In Rome, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, on Tuesday 21 January the Minister for Cultural Heritage and Tourism, Dario Franceschini, and the Chinese Minister of Culture and Tourism, Luo Shugang inaugurate the year of culture and tourism Italy - China 2020.

The challenges of 'onlife' tourism
