The slalom club: "We dance the snow dance every night"

In Vilsta you are also waiting for a new lift that will take the skiers all the way up the slope which has recently become ten meters higher. Now the slalom club may find other solutions in anticipation of snow.

- At a meeting with the coaches, we discussed the challenge of this season. We need to broaden our operations and go to other facilities to get training, ”says Magnus Isaksson, chairman of Tunafors slalom club.

In order for Vilstabacken to be able to ride, cold degrees are required to run the snow cannons.

- We try to lay half a meter of snow before we start the hill to have a good surface for the rest of the season, says Magnus Isaksson.

According to SMHI, the temperature will drop slightly by the end of next week.
