Yesterday, the Public Services Department in Ras Al-Khaimah changed the course of Wadi Negev into three branches, in order to reduce the pressure of the course of the valley in the event of heavy rains, and to avoid water entering the residential area of Al-Fahlin, and the homes of citizens were damaged.

Citizens of Al-Fahalin residents, who were affected by the course of Wadi Naqab, and the floods of heavy rain water that fell on the emirate from last Saturday, said that a team from the Emergency and Crisis Committee in Ras Al-Khaimah visited the area and listened to the observations of the people. They explained to «Emirates Today» that the relevant authorities responded to their requests, and distributed the course of the Wadi Negev to three branches, the first to Salhiya, the second to Al-Hail, and the third to Wadi Saqr, in order to reduce the pressure of the valley’s stream, and to avoid the damage to homes.
