The club of Pau, resident of the National (3rd division), created the sensation Thursday by eliminating Bordeaux (Ligue 1) in the 16th finals of the French Cup of football, 3 to 2 after extra time.
The two teams had completed the regulation time with a score of 2 to 2. The Béarnais took decisive advantage two minutes from the end of extra time thanks to Mamadou Gueye.
