The leaders and those responsible for the plane crash in which 176 people were killed are called both murderers and liars for trying to darken the plane being shot down.

The accusations from the streets have been loud and on social media videos are circulating where security forces are said to have responded with both tear gas and sharp shots. A woman is said to have been shot in the leg and carried by horrified fellow humans.

In the background, people scream "dead to the dictator".

Iran refuses

Tehran police demanded information that security forces should have fired at protesters. "The police treated people who had gathered with patience and tolerance," Tehran Police Chief General Hossein Rahimi said in a statement released by state media, the AP reports.

Journalists have left in protest

Two broadcasters at Iran's state broadcaster Irib are now leaving their jobs in protest of the inaccurate information that spread after the incident, reports The Guardian.

Another journalist and broadcaster apologizes on Instagram to the audience, and writes that she "told lies for 13 years," the magazine writes.
