The document also reports 20 dead and 23 injured in southwest Balochistan province. For its part, the Pakistan Kashmir disaster management authority counted 77 dead including 74 in the Neelum valley, and 94 injured. "We fear that some people are still buried under the avalanches," said the director of operations for the managing authority.

According to him, snowfall has resumed in the affected areas, hampering rescue operations. A senior administrative official from Pakistani Kashmir confirmed the death toll of 77 dead and 94 injured. On Tuesday, the Baluchistan disaster management agency for its part had mentioned 31 dead and 23 injured.
