Véronique Rabiot, mother and advisor to the international community Adrien Rabiot, criticized the president of the French football federation Noël Le Graët on Thursday, denying having exchanged with him about the future in the selection of his son and describing the leader as a "liar ".

Intervening live on the French chain L'Equipe, the representative of the Juventus player assured that he had never had any contact with Le Graët, while the latter had declared in the columns of the French daily newspaper that he had tried to exchange with Adrien Rabiot but having run up against his mother, who asked, according to him, to be received by appointment.

"I am going to be completely transparent with you: I had no contact with Mr. Le Graët. He did not speak to me, I did not speak to him. I did not ask for anything. is not spoken, "assured Véronique Rabiot.

"I know that journalists say that I had contact with Mr. Le Graët, which is false. This is what Mr. Le Graët said. Today, completely straight in my boots, I tell you: + Mr. Le Graët is a liar. + I have in no way spoken with Mr. Le Graët ", she asserted.

International 6 times with the Blues, Adrien Rabiot (25) has not been recalled by coach Didier Deschamps since his resounding refusal to be a reservist in spring 2018, just before the World Cup won by the Blues in Russia. Rabiot had then published an open letter in which he maintained that the choice of the coach with regard to him did not correspond "to any sporting logic".

Le Graët had qualified this refusal as "gross stupidity" but said he wanted to meet the player to clarify the situation.

Rabiot, long in conflict with Paris SG, his training club, joined Juventus Turin last summer, being free of any contract.
