11.3 degrees is the highest temperature ever reached in Örebro since 1858 when meteorological observations started in Sweden. The new record was now beaten in the morning, just days after the previous one. The warm weather has also brought a lot of wind.

SVT News Örebro decided to go out on the town and hear what the inhabitants think of the record-breaking January.

- I think it's sad. It's been the same weather for three months now and it feels wrong and weird, says Christel Reinebo.

Stig Mathiesen is of a different opinion.

- I don't think there are any problems at all. Better this way than lots of slush, he says.
