The head of the constitutional committee of the Federation Council, Andrei Klishas, said that the first meeting of the working group to prepare proposals for amending the Russian Constitution, created by Russian President Vladimir Putin, will be held on Friday, January 17.
“The first workshop is scheduled for Friday,” RIA Novosti quoted Klishas as saying.
He also noted that the kick-off meeting would take place on January 16th.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the creation of a working group to prepare proposals on amendments to the country's constitution.
