“The government has approved a list of strategic enterprises that cannot be privatized ... We have agreed on a draft law, now it needs to be considered and approved by the Verkhovna Rada,” said Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Goncharuk in the Telegram channel.

According to Gromadske, the Verkhovna Rada should agree on the corresponding list.

The list of companies that banned privatization included: Energoatom, Ukrhydroenergo, Ukrenergo, Radiopribor, Spetsoboronmash, Antonov, Zhytomyr Armored Plant and several others. In total, there are about 135 state enterprises and companies on the list.

At the end of November 2019, the Ukrainian government transferred 415 state enterprises for privatization.
