- It is a fairly ugly knife cutting where the victim after the attack managed to get by tram to the stop at Gamlestadstorget. He has, of course, soaked down a lot on the road, something that has attracted a lot of attention, says Martina Saghamre, guard officer at the Gothenburg police to TT.
Once at the Old Town, the dumb man alerted the police.
- When we got to the place he was seriously injured but not life threatening. But he has had many cuts to the torso and head and is really bad. He was taken by ambulance to hospital, says Martina Saghamre.
Shortly after the incident, police managed to arrest two people suspected of the assault.
- Through contact with an attentive public, we arrested a 29-year-old man and a 32-year-old man in an apartment and they are now suspected of gross abuse, says Martina Saghamre.
All involved are known by the police before.
