The president of Olympique de Marseille, Jacques-Henri Eyraud, received a death threat on social media on Wednesday and will file a complaint, he told AFP.

"I will file a complaint tomorrow (Thursday, note)," said "JHE", after an explicit message on social networks mentioning his address in Marseille, revealed by L'Equipe.

"Unfortunately, that's how it is," said the Olympian leader.

Often whistled at the Velodrome stadium, the leader is often badly scratched on social networks by supporters of OM.

The latest criticism against him followed a conference with coach André Villas-Boas on Wednesday early in the afternoon. Very popular in Marseille, the Portuguese recalled that he did not want the club to sell players during the winter transfer window.
