Rennes has digested its defeat against Marseille to win 1-0 at Nîmes and consolidate its third place while Amiens benefited from the VAR to hang the draw against Reims (1-1), Wednesday in late matches of League 1.

Paris SG and its "Fantastic Four" move to Monaco at 9 pm, for the last late match, three days after the draw 3-3 Sunday at the Parc des Princes.

Rennes has already had a good operation. In the match of the 12th day postponed due to the heavy rain in the southwest of France at the beginning of November, the Rennais did not deliver a great performance but ensured the essential thanks to a goal by Hunou (64th).

Julien Stéphan's men are four points ahead of Nantes, 4th. OM, 2nd, is 5 points away.

Nîmes, who also lost his central defender and captain Anthony Briançon hit in the abductors, failed to continue at the Costières after his victory against Reims (2-0), Saturday.

The gap with Amiens, barragiste, even increased by one thanks to the draw of the Picards against Reims (1-1), in late match of the 16th day.

The Amiens have come a long way after a difficult first period, where they were suffering against the arrows of Reims. Moussa Doumbia could first have benefited from a penalty after a collision with Arturo Calabresi in the area (23rd), but the referee did not flinch and communication with the VAR did not work.

Doumbia almost did justice four minutes later, but hit the post. It was finally Dereck Kutesa who opened the scoring just before half time.

Back with much better intentions after the break, the Amiens received a penalty after intervention by ... the VAR, again operational. Moussa Konaté took the opportunity to equalize (53rd) and return two points behind Metz, 17th and first team above the red zone.
