Kadyrov temporarily transferred his authority to the head of the Chechen government


The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, appointed on January 13 the interim head of the region, the chairman of the government, Muslim Khuchiyev, for the period of his “temporary disability”.

The corresponding order, signed on January 13, was published on the website of the head and government of Chechnya.

“In accordance with Article 76 of the Constitution of the Chechen Republic, I assign the duties of the head of the Chechen Republic for the period of my temporary disability to Khuchiev Muslim Magomedovich, the chairman of the government of the Chechen Republic from January 13, 2020,” RIA Novosti quoted the text of the document.

In September 2019, Chechen Health Minister Elkhan Suleymanov said Kadyrov was feeling unwell due to seasonal acute respiratory infections.

In February, the head of Chechnya commented on the temporary transfer of government to the chairman of the government, Muslim Khuchiev.
