Fujairah Appeals Court heard two cases in which a couple accused of assaulting each other, and ended with reconciliation between the two parties.

In the first case, the husband pleaded guilty to assaulting his wife, saying: “She struck me first and it was my assault on her in self-defense.” He explained that “the dispute intensified between me and my wife until he reached the point that she beat me and reduced my respect, which made me defend myself and responded to her assault. ».

By asking the court’s court, the wife admitted beating her husband during a dispute between them, but she gave up her right to this lawsuit, out of a desire to reconcile with her husband.

The husband told the court: “We have children and we do not want our family to be separated by spending our time in court between sessions and leaving children confused about their cause due to a conflict between their parents.”

In another case, a wife confessed in front of the court to threatening her husband, saying: “When I was beaten by my husband, I was feeling bad, as I could not take my right from him, which made me threatening him that I would sue him before the law for what he had done to me, and I actually filed a case first On him, and then he answered a similar lawsuit. ”

The victim abandoned the lawsuit he filed against his wife.

Judge Counselor Ali Khamis Al-Naqbi gave the couple advice, denouncing what happened between them, stressing that “the parents are two basic pillars in the family, and they are involved in conflicts that will destroy their family and their children. With a report from the hospital proving the beating, and then entering the courts and filing cases ».
