Commenting on the appointment of citizen teachers in Sharjah, the Sharjah Private Education Authority confirmed that the Authority has started recruiting citizens in private schools to teach Arabic and Islamic education methodologies, and they will begin studying the teaching methods diploma next Sunday, January 19, before starting their duties in private schools, stressing that the authority has not Any school is obliged to appoint citizens, and all the 50 teachers who are currently appointed are affiliated with the Sharjah government, indicating that a group of schools will be chosen according to a specific agreement between them and the authority to provide citizens with all the capabilities to fulfill their role. And add: This project is considered the first at the state level in appointing citizens in the private sector, and the government of Sharjah guarantees the difference in salaries, as the teacher will be appointed to the staff of the Sharjah government and has all the privileges in which the employee has any department, indicating that the law issued by His Highness is ruler Sharjah yesterday, issued for the privacy of work in the educational field, from private schools, nurseries and institutes, which did not need a law to regulate this work.

And that citizens will be appointed in the Sharjah government and after that they will undergo an educational diploma, as a diploma has been worked with the University of Sharjah to qualify citizens to be able to teach in schools, and for a year.

And that the study of the diploma will be after the appointment of citizens and then they will be provided with private schools that will be agreed upon later, according to the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, pointing out that there are obligations for teachers who will be appointed in private schools, including, they will undergo an educational diploma program, and an exception will be made. Citizens who studied in universities in educational specializations, indicating that the authority specified some of the schools for the emirate through contracts that will be between the two parties to provide work for the citizen, and no school was forced to appoint any citizen, and the authority chose two specializations only to appoint them in private schools, and the first batch o You will have 50 citizen teachers.

He pointed out that the citizen teacher will adhere to the school calendar adopted by the Special Education Authority for schools, and he must adhere to the annual leave of employees in schools, pointing out that there are many challenges in private schools to find qualified teachers in light of the difference in salaries incurred by schools, pointing out that the government will ensure Salary teams will provide these schools with experienced, competent and educated citizen teachers, which will be reflected in the students ’skills and educational attainment.

He indicated that the project is now in its beginning and directed His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah to appoint 50 male and female teachers as a first batch in private schools, pointing out that 33 citizens have been appointed and will be enrolled with 17 others during the coming period, as interviews are underway to appoint them, indicating the importance of redoubling efforts to advance education in the emirate .

And that the appointment of citizen teachers will be through the Department of Human Resources in Sharjah, as it nominated citizens who studied the specializations of the Arabic language and Islamic education to be interviewed and appointed the most qualified of them, indicating that a group of schools was chosen through which the citizen can practice teaching according to the methods he will learn In the educational diploma, a number of schools will be agreed upon to send teachers to them.
