Inter Milan, Lazio Rome and Naples: the three main clubs entered Tuesday in the eighth finals of the Italian Cup qualified without difficulty for the quarterfinals.

Lazio Rome, the defending champion, easily dismissed the Cremonese, a Serie B team (4-0). Naples meanwhile defeated Perugia, another second-tier club, with two Insigne penalties (2-0). Naples and Lazio will face each other in the quarterfinals.

In the evening, the only duel of the day between Serie A teams quickly turned to the advantage of Inter Milan, victorious 4-1 of Cagliari.

The Milanese were indeed already leading 1-0 against Cagliari after ... 21 seconds of play, Lukaku having taken advantage of a huge error from the Sardinian defense to open the scoring.

Borja Valero then doubled the bet, before doubling Lukaku. Oliva reduced Cagliari to 3-1, but Ranocchia closed the mark for Inter.
