Fujairah Penal Court sentenced to six months imprisonment and deportation after carrying out the sentence, for an Arab accused of assaulting police officers, and resisting them during his arrest.
The case papers stated that an Arab caused injuries to police officers, as a result of his assault on them during his attempt to arrest and resist them, which resulted in minor injuries, which were confirmed in medical reports.
By asking the defendant’s court about what he was accused of, he said: “I did not know that these people were policemen. When they tried to arrest me, they did not know themselves, which made me resist them in fear for myself. Myself".
After hearing the accused's defense, the court issued its previous ruling.
