January 13 Russian-Turkish talks on Libya were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Reception House in Moscow, the meeting was attended by the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Defense Ministry, as well as participants in the conflict in Libya. As Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted, progress has been made in the negotiations. During the event, a draft document was considered, which will make it possible to specify issues related to the ceasefire, signed by the Chairman of the Government of National Unity of Libya, Faiz Saraj, and the Chairman of the State Council, Khaled Mishri.

In turn, the commander of the Libyan National Army Khalifa Haftar and the chairman of the Chamber of Deputies in Tobruk, Agila Saleh, asked for a little extra time “until the next morning” to decide on the signing of the document.
