His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, issued Administrative Decision No. (1) for the year 2020 regarding organizing the work of the teacher in the Sharjah Private Education Authority.

The administrative decision stipulates that the provisions of the Regulation for Teacher Work in the Sharjah Private Education Authority will be implemented, and it shall be enforced from the date of its issuance, and its provisions will apply to teachers appointed to the Sharjah Private Education Authority in the Emirate of Sharjah.

And the regulations stipulated within its conditions that the teacher be a citizen of the United Arab Emirates.

The regulation also stipulated that the Sharjah Education Authority approves the requirements of the educational diploma to qualify the teacher by a decision issued by the president of the authority, and the teacher is subject to the educational diploma program at the beginning of his appointment. From the date of work in one of the private educational institutions, and after passing the educational diploma, the procedures in force in Law No. (6) of 2015 regarding the human resources of Sharjah and its executive regulations shall be observed, and the President of the Sharjah Private Education Authority shall issue the necessary decisions to implement the provisions of This list.

• 5 teacher commitments

The regulations set 5 obligations for the teacher:

1. Work in private educational institutions specified by the Sharjah Special Education Authority.

2. School calendar and teacher quorum applied in the private educational institutions in which he works.

3. All that is assigned to it by the Sharjah Special Education Authority in the event of termination of currency tasks in the private educational institution.

4. Attending training courses and seminars determined by the Sharjah Special Education Authority or the private educational institution attached to it.

5. Carrying out all the tasks assigned to it by the Sharjah Special Education Authority.

Conditions of appointment

The regulations specify nine conditions for appointment to the position of teacher, namely:

1. To be a citizen of the United Arab Emirates.

2. He must be of good conduct and behavior, and this shall be proven by a certificate from the competent authority in the country.

3. The age must not be less than (21) years when running for office, taking into consideration not to appoint a person over the age of (60).

4. To pass all tests and job interviews successfully.

5. To be medically fit, by submitting a certificate issued by the state's competent medical authority.

6. That he possesses the academic qualifications and has the necessary practical experiences to fill the position for which the candidate is nominated, and the academic qualifications are equivalent from the competent authorities in the state.

7. He must not have been dismissed from the service by a final decision, unless one year has passed since the Sharjah Special Education Authority prior to appointment, to ensure that the candidate for the job has not been dismissed from the service by a final decision, by providing the candidate with a certificate from his previous work authority stating Reasons for terminating his service, unless it has been issued for one year.

8. That he was not previously convicted of a freedom-restricting punishment for a felony or misdemeanor that violates honor or honesty unless he was pardoned by the competent authority or reinstated in accordance with Federal Law No. (36) of 1992 regarding reinstatement and its amendments, and in the form of Sharjah Private Education Take all measures it deems appropriate to prove this.

9. In all cases for appointment, it is required that the teacher perform the national service, or provide evidence that he is exempted from it for the male category.

• 6 controls for appending a teacher to work

The organizational regulations indicated that the Sharjah Private Education Authority may coordinate with private educational institutions and conclude the necessary agreements to assign the teacher to work in them according to six controls:

1. The identification of the private educational institution to which the teacher is attached to is made by the authority, and according to the system approved by the Sharjah Special Education Authority in this regard.

2. The Sharjah Private Education Authority determines the period of enrollment of a teacher in a private educational institution.

3. The teacher is granted leave according to the system approved by the human resources in the Sharjah Special Education Authority, except for periodic leave, so it will be according to the school calendar approved by the Sharjah Special Education Authority and applied in the private educational institution attached to it.

4. The performance of the teacher is evaluated according to the system approved by the Sharjah Special Education Authority, in cooperation with the attached private educational institution.

5. The teacher applies the system of violations approved in the private educational institutions during the period of joining them in coordination with the Sharjah Special Education Authority.

6. The teacher must return to work in the Sharjah Special Education Authority immediately after the end of the enrollment period.
