A drama took place on Sunday at the end of the afternoon, despite the intervention of around thirty firefighters. A woman died in the fire in her house, located in Saint-Joachim (Loire-Atlantique). The firefighters were called around 6 p.m. for a fire concerning an armchair in a 30 m2 living room, they said in a press release.
Rescue workers found and extracted the victim there shortly after their arrival, but the 68-year-old woman did not survive. The firefighters were quickly able to put out the fire with a lance.
