But where will Nefta Football Club stop? Since its release at the end of 2018, the short film directed by the Nantais Yves Piat has obtained a hundred selections around the world. And this Monday afternoon, he surely won the most prestigious of them: the Oscars. The film was nominated in the “Best live action short film” category alongside four other international short films. Yves Piat, of whom Nefta Football Club is the first film, is in Los Angeles for the announcement.

This 17-minute comedy, which was also selected for the César 2020, was filmed in the Tunisian desert. It tells the story of two young boys who stumble upon a donkey wearing a headset.
