“We turned to North Korea and informed them that we would like to continue the negotiations in Stockholm, which were last held there in early October,” Axios portal quoted Robert O'Brien, US Presidential Assistant for National Security, Axios.

He noted that Washington made it clear to the DPRK through many channels that it wants to resume negotiations.

He also emphasized that he considered it a good sign that Pyongyang has so far refrained from any new tests.

Earlier, the DPRK spoke about the conditions of negotiations with the United States on denuclearization.
