According to an official letter delivered by the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs to the National Council, the recommendations approved by the government without any additional financial burdens or costs involved, aligning programs and projects, and monitoring the achievement of joint strategic goals in renewable energy, between the Ministry of Energy and Industry And future national strategies, especially the national strategy for looking ahead, the UAE Centennial (2071), and the National Innovation Strategy, to reach the achievement of the energy strategy 2050.

The government also agreed to "work on preparing legislation related to the uses, investment and sustainability of renewable energy in accordance with established international standards, and coordinating with higher education institutions to enhance scientific research in the renewable energy sector, by preparing academic and specialized studies programs to train and qualify national competencies specialized in the renewable energy sector" , Which contributes to achieving the state’s goals for Vision 2021, and the Energy Strategy 2050 ».

The list of recommendations approved by the government included: building programs for partnership with the private sector, and strengthening partnerships with local bodies in order to encourage private investment in renewable energy, bearing in mind that these programs include the incentives necessary to encourage the private sector to invest in this area, as well as preparing plans and programs of action to encourage Innovation in the clean and renewable energy sector, through the development of industries related to this sector, and the promotion of applied research related to renewable energy technology, and taking advantage of the experiences of private companies related to the development of these innovations, in addition to adopting the principles Data and awareness programs to spread the culture of energy use in solar homes and buildings, and the importance of the use of renewable energy sources, and included in the educational curricula, in cooperation with academic institutions.

The Cabinet directed the Ministry of Federal National Council Affairs to refer a recommendation stating “the need for specific proportions of citizens to work in the renewable energy sector, and to work to ensure compliance with them, because of their strategic and security implications for the future of the renewable energy sector,” to the Federal Authority for Human Resources Government, and the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, to study it and express its views in this regard.
