Pompeo is outraged by the shelling of an air base in Iraq

“Outraged by reports of a new missile attack on the Iraqi air base. I pray for the speedy recovery of the wounded and urge the Iraqi government to hold accountable those responsible for this attack on the Iraqi people, ”Pompeo wrote on Twitter.

Earlier media reported that the Balad air base in northern Iraq was subjected to rocket fire. It was clarified that four Iraqi soldiers were injured in the attack.

The Central Command of the US Armed Forces (CENTCOM) commented on the shelling of the Iraqi Air Force base Balad.
