Mother of the dead boy: "It hurts so terribly"

- I miss him so and it hurts so terribly, I had done everything to change his place with him, she says.

The mother was told that something serious had happened to her second son who called at 22 on Friday night.

- He screamed on the phone that his brother was knifed, and we went to the hospital. But before we could reach him he called again and told us that the brother was already dead.

Family and friends gathered at the hospital at night and yesterday Björklinge kept the church open for grieving. The mother has also visited the crime scene.

- Seeing all the candles lit helped me to understand that it had really happened - because I'd rather think it's just a dream, she says.

She tells of the son; that he was very well-liked and that he wished everyone well. According to his mother, he was also wise and positive and always stood up for his friends. She says she feels very bad and is still shocked by what happened.

- I can't understand that I should never call him again or hug him and say that I love him.

The family is grateful for all the support from the surroundings - messages from friends and acquaintances have poured into Facebook and via SMS.

- It means a lot, and I understand that what has happened affects many, says the mother.
