A violent fire broke out on Saturday evening a little after 11:30 p.m. in a house located in the village of Prénessaye, a town near Loudéac (Côtes-d'Armor), we learned this Sunday from the firefighters. The two terraced houses affected by the fire were completely devastated by the flames.

When the emergency services arrived, the owner, the only occupant of the premises, had already gone outside, unharmed. According to the Telegram , the septuagenarian was awakened during the night by the unusual barking of his dog. The animal unfortunately perished in the fire.
