He continued that the municipality helped owners of damaged vehicles in various streets, removed trees that were caused by wind, many of which were replanted, and worked to close all parks for the safety of their visitors and employees working in them, as well as broadcast awareness messages to the public through the various official communication channels.

In the same context, the assistant general manager of the agriculture and environment sector and head of the field committee, Engineer Hassan Al-Atefaq, confirmed that the Sharjah municipality has raised its degree of readiness to deal with the weather and precipitation, and the working teams have moved to work sites to deal with rain gatherings according to the previously prepared plan, and the teams have started their work In the drainage of rain water that gathered on the main low roads, and the sites where there are no rainwater drainage networks, in addition to coordinating with Sharjah Police to facilitate and ensure the smooth flow of traffic in the city, as the teams continue their work to finish all the gatherings.

In Ajman, the emergency teams of the Municipality and Planning Department continued its work to draw rain water from dispersed gatherings in the emirate's regions, responding to all incoming reports, as it was able to deal immediately with emergency situations in light of the rain and the instability of the weather.

The Director General of the Department, Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al-Nuaimi, confirmed that the department cooperated with the strategic partners to directly supervise the towing and discharging operations, during and after the rains, to ensure the return of traffic to normal.

He explained that the department formed 15 working teams to monitor and follow up the rain water drainage throughout the emirate, throughout the rainy period, in addition to making sure that the rainwater withdrawal tanks are ready, indicating that the municipality has verified the flow of rain water drainage and not obstructing traffic, and distributed workers to All areas of the emirate to head as quickly as possible to withdraw water from the streets, in addition to regulating the traffic flow on the streets to ensure the safety of road users and the smooth flow of traffic.
