The Italian Bri won the super-G of Altenmarkt-Zauchensee (Austria) on Sunday, first round of the combined in the Ladies' World Cup, ahead of her compatriot Marta Bassino (at 22 hundredths) and the Swiss Wendy Holdener (at 50 hundredths) , enjoying the falls of Mikaela Shiffrin and Petra Vlhova.
Third in the general classification of the World Cup, Federica Brignone, 29, confirms her very good start to the season, after winning the giant slalom at Courchevel in December. She has won the last two combined of the circuit, in 2018 and 2019 in Crans Montana (Switzerland).
The American superstar Mikaela Shiffrin and the Slovakian Petra Vhlova, who were among the big favorites, could not cope with the very demanding course of the shaded track of "Kälberloch".
