“We insist on full admission of guilt. We expect from Iran assurances of readiness for a full and open investigation, bringing the perpetrators to justice, returning the bodies of the dead, paying compensation, official apologies through diplomatic channels, ”the president said in a Facebook message.

He expressed the hope that the investigation would take place without artificial delays.

“Our 45 professionals must get full access and interaction to establish justice,” he added.

On January 8, a passenger plane of Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737 crashed shortly after taking off in the Iranian capital. The victims of the crash were 176 people.

On January 11, the Iranian General Staff said that the liner was shot down accidentally as a result of a human error.

According to Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, a mistake was made during the crisis, "provoked by US adventurism."

President Hassan Rouhani noted that those responsible for the crash will be held accountable.
