Oman appoints new Sultan

Haitham bin Tariq Al Said ameteuliwa kurithi uongozi wa nchi ya #Oman kufuatia kifo cha binamu yake, Qaboos bin Said. As noted, Heysam bin Tariq Al Saeed, the swearing oath, is the cousin of the deceased Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed Al Saeed.

The Sultan of Oman, who ruled since 1970, died at the age of 79 after a long illness.
