This was reported by the press service of the office of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky.

"Vladimir Zelensky informed the French president (Emmanuel Macron. - RT ) about the current security situation in the Donbass ... the parties agreed on a three-way call in the format Ukraine - France - Germany in the near future," the comment says.

Earlier, Macron accepted Zelensky’s invitation to visit Kiev.

At the end of December, an exchange of prisoners took place between Kiev and the self-proclaimed republics of Donbass.

Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel welcomed this move.
