The Almighty Mazembe and the Mamelodi Sundowns secured their place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League on the fourth day after their victory against Primero de Agosto (2-1) and Usma Alger (2-1). And it would take a miracle so that the holders of the Tunisian title of Hope are not there at the end of this group stage.

One of the favorites for the final victory, and used to going far in the Champions League, the TP is the first club to qualify for the quarterfinals after four days. The Congolese still had to work to secure their third victory in four games against the Angolans of Primero de Agosto (2-1). Winners of the Algerians of Usma (2-1), the South Africans, African champions 2016, also secured their place in the quarterfinals with a third victory in four days and especially thanks to the draw of Wac Casablanca on the grass of Petro Atletico (2-2). For the Algerians, the mass seems said with only two points on the clock after four days in this group C.
