... ABOUT THE CRASH

Flight PS572, a Boeing 737-800, takes off from Tehran International Airport Imam Khomeini International Airport early Wednesday morning. On board the plane, which is on its way to the capital of Ukraine Kiev, there are 167 passengers and nine crew members. But just a few minutes after takeoff, something happens and flight PS572 crashes. All on board perish.

... ABOUT THE DEAD

On board the plane, there were 17 people resident in Sweden, of whom 7 had Swedish passports and 10 were registered in Sweden. The passengers also came from Ukraine, Afghanistan, Germany and the UK. Worst hit Canada and Iran - 138 of the 176 passengers were on their way to Canada. Of the dead, 82 are Iranians and 63 are Canadians.

... ABOUT WHY THE PLAN FOUND

The first explanation for the alleged crash came from Iranian state media - according to an early investigation, the crash was due to an engine failure. But Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia are of a different opinion - they accuse Iran of having accidentally shot down the aircraft.

The first to come out and officially confirm the theory was Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudaeu. US media reported in the same vein that the military claims that these are two Russian-made missiles that have been fired at the plane.

Hours later, the dementia came from Tehran - Iran accuses the US and Canada of lying and claims that the only thing that is certain is that flight PS572 was not delayed.
