According to the arrest request, the 25-year-old is suspected of probable cause for attempted robbery, serious illegal threats in two cases and particularly serious abuse.
A person who tried to stop the robbery was beaten with a hammer and taken to hospital.
According to police spokesman Robert Loeffel, the police do not believe that the robbery attempt in Läckeby has anything to do with the other robberies that have occurred in Kalmar County recently. Apart from the now arrested 25-year-old, there are currently no other suspects.
