In early January, IT disruptions occurred at Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge. The disturbance meant that the staff could not reach the patient records and some technical equipment could not be used.
The hospital, which already had a strained situation during Christmas - and the New Year holidays were forced to go up in staff position. Ambulances were redirected to other hospitals and some operations had to be moved to other hospitals in the region.
The staff situation continued for five days.
