He noted that during telephone conversations with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau after the appearance of the version that the plane was shot down by an Iranian missile, both sides agreed on the need for a prompt and transparent investigation of the crash of the liner, as well as international participation in it.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the version about a missile getting into a Boeing in Iran, noting that it is not excluded, but is not confirmed.

It also became known that Canada will take part in the investigation of the crash of an aircraft in Iran.

Ukrainian Boeing 737 crashed on January 8 shortly after takeoff from Tehran airport. The crash killed citizens of Iran, Canada, Ukraine, Sweden, Afghanistan, Germany and the UK.
