This was announced by Muzaffer Aksoy, president of the Turkish-Libyan Economic Council, quoted by the Libyan media. The sum includes a billion dollar letter of credit, also linked to the Turkish military intervention; 1.2 billion in unpaid debt and 500 million in damages to machinery and equipment suffered since 2011. Ankara has suspended contracts for 16 billion dollars.
